MAUMERE KELIMUTU ECO TOUR 5 Days/4 Nights
Day 01: TIBA MAUMERE
Arrived at Waioti Airport, tour participants will be picked up by our tour guide and transfer to hotel for rest and enjoy dinner.
Day 02: MAUMERE – NANGA HALE – PANGA BATANG – MAUMERE
After breakfast depart to NANGA HALE – one of fishermen village and house of traditional salt making, from this place you will use local motor boat to the big island, permaan and Pangabatang Island for snorkeling and swimming activities. Lunch will be served on the white sandy beach. After lunch we go back to Nanga Hale and travel by car to Pati Ahu Cave to observe stalactite and stalagmite. Just before afternoon we will return to the hotel for resting and dinner.
Day 03: MAUMERE – ROPA – DETUSOKO
After having breakfast at 05.00 early morning, head off to fishing harbor (TPI) to see activities of the fishermen. Continue by sailing on motor boat along the fishermen village such as Wuring, reside by Bajo, Bugis and Makassar tribe. From this place continue sailing to Ropa while absorbing the beautiful natural view along the Maumere north beach. Before noon we arrive at Ropa and lunch will be served by the beach. After lunch, continue travelling to Detusoko while enjoying natural beauty and rice paddock surrounding hill and valley. Arrive at Detusoko in the afternoon, take a rest and enjoy dinner at St. Fransiskus Detusoko lodge.
Day 04: DETUSOKO – KELIMUTU – MAUMERE
Early morning at 03.00 leave to Kelimutu summit to see three colored lakes as one of spectacular world’s magical place. Before reaching the top, you need to stretch out your leg and walk along the foot path for about 1.5 km from parking areas. Soon as we arrive at the top of the mountain, you are going to see three lakes with different color, if the weather is clear, you can enjoy the beautiful sunrise. Due to its uniqueness, these lakes have an important value for the Lio tribe. It is a holy place for this tribe. As a resting place for people who die. Locals believe that each lake has a name and meaning, red colored lake is a place for evil spirit. Blue colored lake is a place for children and young people, while the white colored lake is a place for the spirits of people who died old. After enjoying the magical nature, we go back, and then do trekking along the local community’s estate and observe activities of the community, while understanding livelihood of Lio tribe and the surrounding areas. Lunch at Moni. In the afternoon, leave this village and continue travel to Maumere and stop over at Paga beach on the south part of Maumere, while absorbing the nature beauty and take photographs of special moments along the way. Dinner and take a rest at Wailiti Hotel.
Day 05.MAUMERE – DENPASAR
After breakfast, transfer to Wai Oti Airport to continue travelling to other destination.
